LIA members are a diverse group, comprising like-minded individuals and businesses involved in design, advertising, multimedia, pre-press, and all forms of printing. The LIA encourages membership from all levels of industry and experience – from students and apprentices, to business owners and managers.

LIA informs and connects individuals and businesses involved in the Graphic Arts Industry, with the aim of sharing relevant information to our industry, through networking and educational events.
Who are we?
Since it’s inception over 50 years ago, the Lithographic Institute of Australia has proven itself as the leading technical body in the Graphic Arts Industry, involved in all aspects and formats of print production.
What we do?
The LIA has been instrumental in the development of ISO Colour Standards for the Printing Industry and believe the organisation has a responsibility to the development and support of the next generation of industry leaders.
An integral part of the LIA mission is the promotion of new talent through the annual LIA Graduate of the Year Awards for trainees and apprentices.
Each year the LIA hosts industry and social events, these include plant visits, technical nights and even golf days, all providing an opportunity to build relationships and share information.

LIA believes the future of our industry is dependent upon the support, encouragement and direction we can provide students to realise their full potential. Through mentoring and showcasing their achievements we will help build individuals who are passionate about their chosen field of expertise and support them to realise their full potential.
